Female Billionaire CEOs: Kylie Jenner

The Kardashian family remains to be one of the most iconic families of the 21st century. With almost every move dominating the headlines, this powerhouse family has produced a long list of famous personalities who have all created a name for themselves by their own right. One of the most successful celebrities to come out from this illustrious household is none other than media personality and successful businesswoman Kylie Jenner. Currently in her twenties (born on August 10, 1997), Kylie has also launched herself into the glamorous life of fame and fortune at an early age much like her iconic half-sister Kim Kardashian.

In 2019, Kylie Jenner’s net worth hit the $1 billion mark and made the Forbes list during the same year as the “youngest self-made billionaire of all time” at just 21 years of age. Her fortune skyrocketed during this period due to several successful business ventures under her name such as Kylie Cosmetics, where she had 100% ownership until she sold 51% of the company to Coty for $600 million. As of writing, her billionaire status has been adjusted to $900 million during the time of the Coty sale, nonetheless, her financial success and business savvy is without a doubt impressive.

The rest of her net worth has been valued from her numerous assets such as properties, cars, and numerous partnerships and deals with companies and TV shows such as the popular reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians where she stars alongside her celebrity siblings. Besides launching numerous clothing lines with her sister Kendall Jenner, she has also starred in a spin-off show of her own called Life of Kylie to add to her long list of achievements which continues to grow in the past few years.

Much like her sister Kim Kardashian, the success of Kylie Jenner’s cosmetic empire can be credited to her active presence on her social media accounts — mainly Instagram — where she regularly promotes Kylie Cosmetics products to a huge audience of 286,000,000 followers as of this article’s writing. Amassing such a fortune at an early age, things are just getting started for the celebrity businesswoman.
