Why do you do what you do?

Being the designer for Rossario George allows me to tap into my creativity. I can remember early on as a child I loved to draw and create, now as an adult, I am still able to enjoy and indulge this energy on a level and scale that is only limited to what my mind allows.

What are some projects you are currently working on?

I am currently working on the fall/winter 2020-2021 women's collections. It's gonna be a vast departure from what you have seen from previous collections for the brand. I'm finding my inspiration from the past specifically music from the past. This upcoming collection and the fashion editorials/campaigns around it are going to be fun, edgy and where my head is these days.

What are your goals for the short-term and long-term?

As my favorite band Tears for Fears would say RULE THE WORLD. I want Rossario George to be a major lifestyle brand that is recognizable around the world for our fashions, beauty and more.

Who or what inspires you?

These days I find inspiration in music. A good song breeds creativity in me. PS: This should give you a small hint of what's to come in this year's Rossario George fall/winter collections.

If you could change anything about your industry, what would it be?

I would like to see more minorities leading and directing the fashion industry. It's my goal to be one of the first to break the white-colored glasses that the industry has worn for many years. Its a diverse world and as so too should those who decide and create the looks and styles that make it go round.

What do you plan to do once you cross the millionaire mark?

To cross the 1 billion mark. A million can only get you so far, but my goals are larger and require much more than that amount can provide. My overall goal for myself and my brand is to make the world a better place. I want foundations created, cities rebuilt and a strong voice that can move people to change for the better.
