What is your story?
My name is Benjamin Scott. I was born on May 6, 1988 in Chicago, Illinois. I have been modeling for almost 5 years and have walked in 29 runway shows and many photoshoots. I have autism and I am also an Autism Ambassador because I have been spreading the word out to the community and raising awareness through my platform and volunteering. I am showing everybody that it doesn't matter if we have Autism or Asperger Syndrome, we are human and we can still make our dreams come true! We can make a difference because we can all be independent everyday! I am also the host of the YouTube series called Sneaker Jamz. The show is about casual sneakers, casual shoes, dress shoes, and fashion stories! Also, I am the lead singer of the Midnight Rain Band!
Why do you do what you do?
Because I am showing everybody that I can break every barrier as an autistic role model and help people make their dreams come true!
What are some projects you are currently working on?
I am doing a YouTube series called SNEAKER JAMZ and the show is about casual sneakers, casual shoes, dress shoes, and fashion stories, I am promoting Autism Awareness for Autism Awareness Month by appearing at different events! I have fashion shows and photoshoots for the Spring and Summer, I will be appearing in music videos with speaking roles and on TV shows as an extra!
What are your goals for the short-term and long-term?
Spreading the word out to everybody about autism awareness by traveling to different cities, countries and continents as an Autism Ambassador! I also want to do a lot more modeling work.
Who or what inspires you?
Michael Jackson is my biggest inspiration!
If you could change anything about the fashion and entertainment industry, what would it be?
I want to show everybody that autistic people can make their dreams come true as well in fashion, entertainment or anything they choose.
What do you plan to do once you cross the millionaire mark?
My plan is to help people make their dreams come true everyday by staying positive, persistent and strong!
