What are some major achievements or accolades that you’ve accumulated?

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, entrepreneur, educator, author, speaker, and philanthropist. Over the past 20+ years in healthcare, I’ve had the privilege of serving thousands of patients while co-owning A & S Divine Healthcare. I’m the founder of Angel’s Xclusive Creations and Angel’s Helping Hands, a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring youth and empowering the next generation of leaders. I also host the Black Excellence in Healthcare: White Coats & Real Talk podcast, where I amplify the voices of Black healthcare professionals. I am the founder of the White Coat Powerhouse Nurse Practitioner Group. Along my journey, I’ve been honored with recognition, including the 40 Nurse Leaders Under 40 Award, Mentorship and Education Award, the Women of Distinction Honor, and America’s Best in Medicine.

I am the author of “White Coat Power Moves: How to Build Your Brand as a Nurse Practitioner and The RN to NP Blueprint: What to Expect, What to Know, and How to Prepare. Both books are currently on Amazon. However, my greatest achievement is knowing that my work changes lives every day.

How do you use your platform as an influencer to spread what’s good to the world and who have you impacted?

I believe influence is about service, not popularity. I intentionally use my platforms to educate, empower, and inspire. Whether I’m caring for patients, mentoring aspiring and practicing nurse practitioners through the White Coat Powerhouse NP Group, coaching entrepreneurs, speaking at events, writing books, or serving our youth through Angel’s Helping Hands, my mission remains the same: to help people recognize their purpose and walk confidently in it. I strive to make healthcare more accessible, encourage entrepreneurship, promote leadership, and remind others that success and service can coexist. My impact extends to patients, healthcare professionals, business owners, women, young people, and communities seeking hope, knowledge, and opportunity.

What are some projects that you are currently working on or promoting?

I’m currently focused on expanding several initiatives that are close to my heart. Through A & S Divine Healthcare, we’re continuing to grow our primary care and mental health services while increasing community outreach and wellness education. I’m also expanding the White Coat Powerhouse NP Group to provide mentorship, leadership development, and business education for nurse practitioners. I’m producing new episodes of my podcast, Black Excellence in Healthcare: White Coats & Real Talk, featuring inspiring healthcare professionals who are making an impact beyond the white coat. Additionally, I’m continuing to grow Angel’s Helping Hands by creating more mentorship opportunities for our youth and developing educational resources, speaking engagements, and business coaching programs through Angel’s Xclusive Creations.

Who do you have to credit for your success?

Without question, God. My faith has been the foundation of everything I’ve accomplished. Every opportunity, every victory, every lesson, and every door that has opened is because of His grace and guidance. I also credit my family, friends, and the many people who believed in me throughout my journey. Success is never achieved alone, and I remain grateful for everyone who has poured into me along the way.

What is your ultimate goal in your career/life?

My ultimate goal is to leave a legacy of impact, excellence, and service. I want to continue transforming lives through healthcare, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy while inspiring others to dream bigger than their circumstances. I hope to build organizations and programs that continue serving communities long after I’m gone. More than any title or award, I want to be remembered as a woman of faith who answered God’s calling, empowered others to discover their purpose, and made the world better because she was in it.
